Hailey & Brett met with me in my home state of Connecticut, at Waveny House for their engagement session. It’s one of my FAV places for portrait sessions because of all the variety and rich backgrounds it offers. 10/10 recommend!

We started their session close to the house in a tree-covered grass field that had small wild flowers blooming. The environment was the perfect backdrop to compliment Hailey’s cut-out floral dress and Brett’s navy suit. Based on the first location alone (and all the good laughs they were bringing!!) I knew it was going to be the best evening.

We made our way around the property to a few other buildings and fields so they could have a large variety in their final gallery. Pro Tip: staying at one location that is filled with opportunity is truly how you can maximize the time at your engagement session! I loved shooting at the Waveny House and hanging with Hailey and Brett for the evening. I can’t wait for their wedding next July!
