Lexi and Ryan reached out to me about a newborn session for baby Layton! I couldn’t refuse because, I mean, look at him!! Plus I’ve actually photographed Lexi’s family for years so I feel honored to capture this next chapter for them!

A newborn session is such change of pace than my other sessions. It’s quite refreshing actually. The craziness that sometimes happens on a wedding day or running around for engagement sessions before the sun goes down can sometimes be hectic. So its nice to put a few newborn sessions on my books knowing I’ll get to slow down for a bit and enjoy these quiet moments with a new little one! I also love to grab some family portraits during these sessions after a few pictures of your baby wrapped in their favorite blanket! Even when my clients doesn’t request them, I remind them that they will love seeing themselves in this moment again with their newest family addition!

I loved catching up with Lexi again and meeting baby Layton! I can’t wait to watch this little guy grow up!
