As 2013 comes to an end and 2014 begins, I’ve made an effort to photograph things that I love. In the hustle and bustle of wedding season, finding a way to simply pick up my camera and photograph for myself can get lost far too easily. I took some time out of my schedule to sit down one morning and brainstorm some fun shoot ideas…In the coming weeks, I’ll have several shoots that are all just me. Inspired by beauty and executed for the pure joy of capturing moments. Photography is a passion of mine, not just a job.
My first personal inspiration shoot began when a pretty simple box full of tangerines sitting on my kitchen counter caught my attention. Orange is not a color that I have seen show up at many weddings. These cute little fruits became the inspiration for this styled wedding shoot that I put together over the holidays. I love gold, sparkles, vintage china and floral bouquets that are unconventional. In these photos, you’ll see all of those things that make me happy.
Designer Robin Fator of Dark Pony Design’s Etsy shop provided the beautiful corset and tulle wedding gown.
Hope you enjoy this tangerine inspired wedding!!
